As part of their Superheroes topic this term, Year 3 are studying the Ancient Egyptians and whether they could be seen as real-life superheroes. As an introduction to this topic, they had an Egyptian Day when the children took part in activities such as bread-making, designing masks, creating their own cartouche and mummification. The children and staff dressed up in traditional Egyptian costume for the day, so that they could immerse themselves in what it was like to be an Ancient Egyptian.
